The Pandemonium

After a great weekend, and my favourite festival Holi, which is as beautiful as colors... coming back to the college was no less than a herculean task!!

It was as dreadful, trust me!!

Even after pathetically long hours of briefings, there was hell lot of confusion regarding anything and everything. We all were confused between the macro and micro area of our project.
We were told to make 5 boards earlier which were - inspiration, concept, material, color and mood board at the time of briefing but then the statemnt was contradicted due to the confusion.

Now we were asked to make 3 boards which were - Visual culture scenario, Product and merchandise scenario and Socio culture scenario. After the brain storming with one of our faculty, we were just give one day to make all the 3 boards.
JUST 1 DAY!!!! IMAGINE!!! Poor Us!!

After struggling with ideas and resourcing material, all the groups finally started making their boards a few hours before the submission. Its 1:35pm and nobody is done with the work yet.

So, lets see... what happens next!

It's our paradise and it's our war zone!!

Hey guys..
As soon as the JURY ended,  me and my friends were just making plans to go partying each and every single day till the new module starts. But being the lazy ass that I am, I spent the 4 days literally doing nothing but just sleeping and eating and repeating it all over. I was chanting the Pillowtalk song's lyrics like a mantra "Bed all day. Bed all day.." cause it spoke to me on levels, well just this part, not the entire song!!

A flip through my Log Book

Hey lovelies!!

Finally after having a great day at the Chandni Chowk, I  finally could start my log book.

The Red Fort or Lal Qila is a living monument and a symbol of India’s composite history. It also happens to be the largest monument in Old Delhi. Adding to the significant beauty of Chandni Chowk, completed in 1648, the colossal Red Fort is the grand legacy of the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan. Within its red sandstone walls—stretching some 1.5 miles—are the crumbling remnants of the once flourishing Mughal empire. This walk takes you through the historic ruins that dot the rambling fort complex.

Haveli to speak a history lost in time (Micro Research)

Dharampura Haveli

The Heart Of Delhi is now boasting of a new tourist spot with the almost restored Haveli Dharampura, which has open its doors to visitors. A few metres away from Jama Masjid, the haveli sits between Jain temple and New Digambar Jain temple. The area is named Dharampura owing to the presence of a large number of temples.

An Inquest On the Mughal Creation (Macro Research)

The Heart Of Delhi has seen better days, but a journey through its narrow and crowded lanes still excites the common folks. We went on such a journey and were not disappointed at all. Even in today’s modern and fast-paced times, the history of this place has remained intact.

Nestled in the middle of the chaotic and walled city of Old Delhi, located opposite the Red Fort, , one of Delhi’s busiest, grandest and oldest shopping markets, “Chandni Chowk was built in the 17th century, when Emperor Shahjahan shifted his capital from Agra to Delhi. It became the heart and soul of the commercial activities of the Mughul Empire and the legend continues till today. The market was once divided by canals to reflect moonlight and that’s how it earned its name, ‘Chandni’ (Moonlit). Jahanara Begum was the designer of The Heart Of Delhi.
